  • ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Shanghai) LTD. was registered in the Qingpu Industrial Zone in June 7, 2002, to invest $500 million in total.
  • ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Shanghai) LTD. was established and began to hire the A7 plant in Oct.
  • Started to install equipments in Nov.
 
    
 
  • Started production in Jan. Total TSOP output reached 63,010 KK.
  • Passed ISO 9001:2000 in May.

 
 
 
  • Passed QS 9000 in April.
  • Total TSOP output reached 113,393 KK.
 
 
 
  • The construction of new plant was completed in July.
  • Started operation in the new plant in Aug.
  • Installed equipment for LCD Driver IC assembly and testing in Aug.
  • Certified with ISO 14001 in Dec.
 
    
 
  • Passed ISO/TS 16949:2002 in Jan.
