ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Shanghai) LTD., a subsidiary of ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Bermuda) LTD., was founded in June 2002. The main business focus of ChipMOS (Shanghai) is to extend ChipMOS (Bermuda) existing core competence on assembly and testing of memory semiconductor into China market to serve regional customers' demands. Through ChipMOS staff's effort, ChipMOS (Shanghai) has been successfully providing assembly and testing services to customers at memory sector since 2003. The operation systems have passed the ISO 9000 quality system certification in 2004.
ChipMOS (Shanghai) also sticks to same corporate 5C culture (Cooperation, Creativity, Cordiality, Cost consciousness, Continuity) as ChipMOS group to provide an amicable working environment to its employees and maintain a friendly relationship with the relating societies.
